Just Because…

…I thought what the hell! There’s no particular reason for this post…except to raise some spirits! Enjoy!

And, yes, folks…Trooper is Canadian!

  1. You’ve just raised my spirit without me even seeing the clip. I’m on the road and have very limited access to the net. But since you never posted anything that didn’t make me feel better, I’m assuming that it’s one hell of a video. Gabriela too seems to have not only enjoyed it but to have BEATEN ME TO COMMENT ON YOUR BLOG.
Gabriela! I’d watch my back if I were you.

    1. LOL!! Abufares! I hope when you finally get to see it you enjoy it!! 🙂 Gee its nice to know people are so eager to comment first!! Thanks for coming by as always!

  2. Wanna raise your spirits a bit more? Picture me in my afro hair do (hair don’t??) as a teenager rocking my head back and forth to that other great Trooper song: “3 dressed up as a 9”.

    “You’re just a 3 dressed up as a 9
    You’re only wasting my time.
    A 3 dressed up as a 9
    Ohhhh Yaaaaa!! ”

Back when they had 45’s. Remember 45’s? I’m getting dizzy just thinking about it.

    1. Hmmmm…Brigand. Never heard that song…will have to check it out. Oh ya…we all had some fine do’s in the 70’s/80’s. My first 45 was Golden Earring’s Twilight Zone! Weeee!! 45’s were kind of fun…oh how things have changed though.

      1. Ya, back then music was much harder to come by, and so it was more special. Nothing like the excitement of bringing home a new album or 45 and putting on the turntable. Not the same as downloading whatever you want, whenever you want it from iTunes. The age of instant gratification has made us value things less.

        1. I do agree with you, Brigand. Not only when it comes to music: nothing can be compared to the excitement I used to feel each time I received a letter.

  3. Hi Gabriela

Agreed. I used to write long, multi-page letters to friends oversees all the time. Nowadays, if I spend more than a few minutes composing an email, my knee starts to jiggle.
