First Bloomers

I got a chance to get out into my garden this morning to capture a few of the first bloomers so I thought I’d share them with you. I just used my Samsung phone to photograph them as my DSLR battery is charging. I never realized until this morning that there was a Macro option on the Samsung and BOY! for a phone, it’s pretty darn good!

Nice to see some colour, isn’t it? Have a wonderful day.

    1. Thank you, Hebe. I have some beautiful things in my garden, but to be honest I really need to get in there and get weeding. It’s amazing how quickly the weeds elbow their way in there. They wouldn’t want all the nice spring flowers to get all the attention! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. As of late, Gabriela, I mostly only use my phone. Before I got the Samsung, I had a Blackberry which, although I loved the phone, took crummy photos. The Samsung is galaxies (pardon the pun) ahead of the BB. That’s the old BB of course…I’m sure the new one has a far more advanced camera. I also have a Digital SLR camera which takes fantastic shots outside except for macro shots. The phone actually does a better job. I was quite impressed. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. These are amazing pictures! The Samsung phone may have a technically advanced camera, but only beautiful eyes are capable of seeing and conveying such beauty!!!

    1. Thank you, Abufares. ๐Ÿ™‚ I must have a thousand shots of the plum and apple trees in the spring but every year I can’t resist taking more. They are just so pretty.

      1. Far too long! Entirely my fault…I was caught up in family busy-ness and job stupidness and well, whatever. Hope you are well – you look great!
