Beauty of Words

It’s been tough. I swear to you that I have been searching, in vain, for a photo of something…anything…that’s beautiful over the last couple of days. Unfortunately, I’m discovering that in my world of routine…and snow…I rarely wander off the beaten path. Outdoors is very unappealing right now. I think this has a lot to do with the spring thaw. It’s taking it’s bloody time but it’s now dirty and very unbecoming. I’ve kind of exhausted anything new and startling in this limited space. If something did catch my eye it was something which I couldn’t photograph for various reasons. Sooo…what’s a girl to do? Well, I’ll tell you, the most beauty and inspiration I got today came from words. Fellow blogger, Bonnie, posted a lovely quote on her site, The Bonny Blog a few days ago. You can see her post here. Check out the rest of her blog too. She’s got lots of wonderful goodies. For now, I’ll leave these words with you and a photo I took a while ago. Hopefully I’ll be back tomorrow with something startling and new. 🙂

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive. – Howard Thurman
