ROW 80: Mid-week Check-in

ROW80LogocopyI’m inhaling spoonfuls of Nutella as I write this…just a moment…

Really…this should be part of my goals…stop eating while writing. It’s kind of like a nervous twitch. When I get stuck in the story, I raid the cupboards. Sigh.

Anyway, my ROW has started well and without too much foraging. So far I’ve written 1013 words which is ahead of my goal. I’ll write another 500 tonight. I decided to bump up the WPD because there may be days when I won’t be able to write. Might as well make hay while the sun shines…or in my case, make igloos while the North winds blow. Brrrr….

Onwards and upwards…hopefully sans Nutella!

    1. Another writer suggested peanuts and you know, it’s actually much more effective. You can kind of munch away a little at a time as you write. To be honest I can’t eat that much Nutella. A couple of spoonfuls at most so it doesn’t really accompany writing but rather is just a quick break from a sticky situation. 🙂

  1. Love this check-in … and your header. Since I’ve joined my daughter on her journey to health, I forage less, but I can certainly relate. My creative endeavours often include several layers including a blanket wrapped around my shoulders … and the slippers my MIL made for Christmas (and I “never” wear slipper). Anyhoo, all the best and congrats on being ahead of schedule; that’s always a great feeling.

    1. Hi Steph. Thanks for dropping by. It sounds like you and I have very similar writing habits…I too wrap myself in a blanket and have my slippers. Although, I wear slippers all the time as soon as the temperatures start to dip. It’s an age thing. 😉 I am going to make an attempt to forage more healthfully…but sometimes a spoonful of chocolate is ooohhh so good and soooooo needed! Good luck with your writing too. I’ll pop over to your blog later today.
